　　Ol'ManRiver这是一首反映美国黑人悲惨生活的歌曲。它的作者演唱者是黑人歌唱家PaulRobeson。同时，此曲也是电影ShowBoat（画航璇宫）的插曲。

　　1928年，英国伦敦的一家歌剧院里，正在举行音乐剧《游览船》的首场演出。一位在剧中饰演黑人搬运工的保罗·罗伯逊唱道：“我们这样的痛苦、疲倦，既害怕死亡，又厌倦生活。但老人河啊，却总是不停的流过。”那深厚的男低音充满了感人肺腑的力量，激发了阵阵如雷般的掌声，演唱者也一举成名。

　　曾三次改编成电影，美国著名黑人歌唱家PaulRobeson在1936年发行的电影《Showboat演船》中的演唱，最为经典。

　　1937年，在英国举行了支持西班牙共和国的群众大会，罗伯逊将《Ol'ManRiver》的歌词改为“我们要乐观地继续战斗下去，直到死为止”，表达了人们维护和平与正义的呼声，激起到会群众震耳欲聋的欢呼声。这首反映美国黑人悲惨生活的歌曲，迅速传遍了全世界，至今常在音乐会上演出。
